    In partnership with the Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities, SHRM Portage County invites you to join OOD's October Meeting titled:

    "Building an Inclusive Apprenticeship Program"

    ABOUT THE EVENT:  This is part of our SHRM Portage County 2024 Diversity and Inclusion Learning Series. We are partnering with the Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities to provide business owners and HR professionals an understanding of the ways we can make our businesses more inclusive.  

    For this event, participants can learn and earn 1 SHRM PDC and/or 1 HRCI  Credit.

    ABOUT THE PRESENTATION: This webinar shares the benefits of establishing an inclusive apprenticeship program, ideas for common reasonable accommodations, and resources and partner programs that support inclusive apprenticeships.

    Kristin Wray

    Kristin Wray is the Career Development Specialist for East Central Ohio with the Division of Employer and Innovation Services at Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD). In this role, Kristin supports Ohio’s businesses in their efforts to hire college students with disabilities for internship opportunities. Kristin joined OOD in October 2019 and earned a master’s degree in education and a bachelor’s degree in applied communication.

    Davis Raff

    Davis Raff is the Career and Credential Consultant with the Division of Employer and Innovation Services at Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD). In this role, Davis supports the region to improve outcomes for individuals with disabilities by facilitating connections with training programs leading to credentials needed for in-demand jobs. Davis joined OOD in October 2019 and attended Ohio University.
