"How to Leverage Adaptive Thinking in Safety"
ABOUT THE EVENT: This is part of our PCHRA 2025 Health and Safety Learning Series. We are partnering with the Portage County Safety Council to provide business owners, HR and Health & Safety professionals an understanding of the 2025 topcis related to workplace safety.
This month the focus is on burn precention in the workplace.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER: Lori Fisher, PMP, is President of PLS Management Consulting, an operations management consulting firm operating in Northeast Ohio. Lori helps organizations with operations management design to increase employee engagement and enhance collaboration for step-ahead outcomes. This includes fractional operations, consulting, coaching, and training services in the areas of leadership, collaboration, project management, and productive meetings. She also works with Ugandan-based NGO, YAREN Organization that supports education programs for young women and mothers from refugee populations.
Previously, Lori enjoyed leadership success in biotech, aerospace, steel tool and steel industries, working for, and supporting both global and small-to-medium sized enterprises. Lori earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Kent State University, PMP certification from PMI, and teaching certification in Systems Thinking, Mapping, and Leadership from Cabrera Research Labs. She lives in Mantua, Ohio with her husband Bruce.
