In partnership with the Portage County Safety Council, SHMR Portage County invites you to join PCSC's January Meeting titled:

    "PPE Fashion Show"

ABOUT THE EVENT:  This is part of our PCHRA 2025 Health and Safety Learning Series. We are partnering with the Portage County Safety Council to provide business owners, HR and Health & Safety professionals an understanding various safety procedures and regulations.

This month's training features a discussion and "fashion show" on PPE. This unique presentation will combine safety education with a lively fashion show as Steering Committee members model a variety of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) donated by our generous sponsor, U.S. Safety Gear. Learn about the importance of each safety item while enjoying a lighthearted yet educational runway showcase. It’s an engaging way to stay safe and stylish at work!

For this event, participants can learn and earn 1 SHRM PDC.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER: Shelly Owen is the General Manager & Occupational Health & Safety Consultant for Swift First Aid, a first aid and safety company based out of Stow, OH. Shelly has been a member of the Portage County Safety Council Steering Committee since 2013 where she currently serves as the Committee Chair. She enjoys helping others wherever needed and is passionate about teaching health and safety standards for the workplace.

ABOUT THE PCSC: The Portage County Safety Council is a non-profit program of Family & Community Services, Inc. We are funded in part by the Ohio BWC to promote workplace safety & health information
